Say no to fire retardants
It's on furniture, mattresses, port-a-cribs, car seats, rugs, drapes, you name it. When you by a natural latex mattress, make sure you get a doctor's note saying not to put any fire retardant chemicals on it. It is required by law to put fire retardant chemicals on all furniture, mattresses, rugs and drapery if it is sold in California (which everything is..), so read your labels!
